random stuff

keladry_lupinWell, I'm so not happy that our choreographer is sick, but I am glad to have no rehearsal tonight. Dave the landlord has work to do in the hobbit hole over the next few days, so I have a lot to do before work tomorrow. I was going to have to stay up till midnight tonight to do it all if I'd got home from rehearsal after 10:30 pm. I'm also happy that I don't have to dance while I'm still sore from Saturday's fall.
I was too sore after yesterday's rehearsal to cook or even clean. It had been a week since I'd seen Phil, so I was trying to figure out how I could still see him without inviting him over. It worked out because three of his friends are in town for a funeral. We met at a local pizza place for dinner and ended up staying for three hours. I was barely acquainted with them when they lived in SoCA, but they welcomed me with open arms, and we had a nice visit. And I got to see Phil without letting him see my messy hobbit hole, which was my main goal for the evening.
I started Christmas shopping today. A search for audio books at the public library led to something that I'm so sure I'll like that I went straight to Amazon to order it. I wish I'd given it some more thought and waited until this evening so I could order it through the local book shop, but I can get future book purchases there.
