Ganked from [livejournal.com profile] snarkyroxy:

1. How long have you been in fandom?
Since spring 2002.

2. How did you discover fandom/what was your route into it?
I discovered Obidala fanfiction (Star Wars, Obi-Wan/Padme romance) about five seconds after I got an Internet-ready computer and started surfing. I was happily entrenched in Obi-Wan fanfiction for a little over a year, and defected to the Potterverse (I first read the books in 2001) when the PoA movie came out, and I fell in love (read: LUST) with Thewlis' Lupin and Rickman's Snape. Found FictionAlley, started trolling, and came upon VenusDeMilo's HG/SS Lost. Other HG/SS stories kept mentioning this WIKTT group; I eventually located them, and through them discovered Ashwinder.

3. Do you actively participate in any forums you may wish to pimp? Any you joined then but would not set foot in now?
I won't go near FictionAlley any more. SycophantHex (Ashwinder, mostly) and OWL are my archives of choice for posting. I still read stories at ff.n if they've been recced, but I don't go looking for new stories there.

4. How did you discover LJ, and what made you get one?
I think it was just seeing how many HG/SS fans had accounts, so I checked it out.

5. How did you come up with your username?
Keladry is the first name of a favorite shero, Keladry of Mindelan, a girl of noble birth who trains to become a knight in a series of books by Tamora Pierce. And Lupin should be obvious.

6. Who is your favourite character?
Remus John Lupin. (Snape is a close second.)

7. Have your opinions changed towards any characters/ships in your time in fandom?
I used to ship Ron/Hermione. *ducks* And then I read a few HG/SS fics, and I saw the light.

8. Do you write/draw within fandom? What made you start?
I started writing with the most arrogant of motivations; I was reading these hokey Obidala stories and thought, "I can write better than this!" So I did. It isn't bloody Shakespeare, but I think I'm continuing to improve as time passes. I'd love to draw, but I'm such a perfectionist that I look at what I draw and think it's crap, so I bin it and give up.

9. Does what you write/draw differ from what you would read? How so? What are your biggest kinks/squicks?
What I write is pretty much what I want to read. Romantic, a little suspenseful, some humor, and happy endings.

10. Of what piece of your work are you most proud, and why?
I'd say I'm proudest of Transient Mentor, actually. It's a Star Wars one-shot Obi-Wan/Princess Leia father/daughter-type story that blossomed out of a little challenge our Obi-Wan characterization group did, back in spring of 2002 (just before I jumped the GFFA ship). I posted it at Lumos, over at SycophantHex.
