4. the sheer volume of e-mails can be a bit overwhelming at times, but FlyLady has helped me turn my flat from bombed-out Beirut into ... bombed-out North Long Beach, I guess. And soon it won't like like bombed-out anything.
5. Apartment Therapy fills me with LUST. It's not just about improving your living space, but it's also about improving your life when you're away from home; there are a lot of recommendations that the users give about vacations -- destinations and deals and such. I've only recently discovered it, but I just look at the pretty pictures and get off my butt and clean my flat a little more.
6. Project Gutenberg has helped me enrich my mind and eased the stress on my wallet. A lot of literature that isn't under copyright is available here for your perusal at no charge. I've found a lot of P. G. Wodehouse's stuff, as well as Jean Webster's books.
7. Paul Brians' Common Errors in English page. I've recced it before, and whenever I can't remember proper word usage for a fic, I go here and am usually able to find an answer.
