There was that familiar feeling of pressure and disorientation, a tingling along his body that simultaneously itched and soothed his skin, making made his hair stand on end.
Sam had Leaped.
He smelled his new environment first. It was acrid and smoky, and he coughed to expel the fumes from his lungs. It was unlike anything he’d ever smelled before! Sam swallowed, trying not to puke before he knew what was happening.
He felt dizzy as he struggled to focus his eyes, and he leaned forward.
‘Neville, no,’ cried a woman’s voice.
