I know it's weird to be smiling when I find out that someone has died, but there's a reason for this. But he was ninety-seven, and I think he was ready to go. Gordon B. Hinckley, head of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, passed away this evening:

His wife, to whom he was married for sixty-seven years, died almost four years ago. He said many times how much he missed her. Now he's with her again. (According to our beliefs, of course.) This is why I smile. While I'm crying, of course.
Edit: I hadn't read it all before in such great detail, but it's a relief to know that for once, I got it right: the procedures for the succession of the presidency. The fourteen apostles now have a lot to think about.
