The author of a fic I'm following says she'll update every Thursday and Sunday. The Thursday updates are always in the evening, presumably after work, so I still have hours to go before I find out what happens next.

(She'll probably delay the update just to annoy me; I have been overly enthusiastic over the last week or two. ;P)

Yesterday I was working on a list for a honchos' meeting that just ended, and I needed some information on one of our databases that I couldn't access. The students can access it, however, so I threw JD's name around -- "Dean JD needs this information asap, so please mark yes or no in the relevant column and return it to me." -- and boy, did they respond!

Now I see why Shiv says she needs minions; it was rather fun to make three boys obey me.
