During the next seven weeks, I will list seven things that I'm grateful/glad/fangirly about, each time I'm annoyed/disappointed/discouraged. Or just if I feel like it.

1.
lettybird, who introduced me to QI
2. See's dark chocolate chip truffles
3. hummingbirds, and the cute, kissy-chirp noise they make (it made my perverse mind extremely happy when
mundungus42 told me that the hummingbird has a vocabulary of 200 words, and all of them are profanities)
4. church, especially the three amazing women who head up the women's organization in our congregation -- and I get to work with them, because I'm their secretary
5. my garden
6. Mary and Katrin, former co-workers, who have no idea that they still make me smile and think of them fondly every day (long story)
7. Winifred Watson's Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (this is a link to my review of the book, so beware of summary/slight spoilers)
