in which Kel starts poking around like a timid hedgehog

I created this account during an exodus from LJ a while ago, but I never bothered to set anything up. LJ is changing everyone's friends lists to a style that has mandatory infinite scrolling, takes away some of the graphics, and is hard on the eyes. Infinite scrolling at Tumblr has crashed my browser more than once, so no thank you.

It'll take me a while to learn the terminology and coding and stuff, but I should be up to speed in relatively short order. DW doesn't seem that different from LJ.
