At first, I thought that the posting/commenting boycott was a good idea. But now, with all the furor over the possible motivations behind the boycott, as well as the counter-idea that we should post lots instead of posting nothing at all, my head is spinning. I am happy shallow, thank you, and since some of us will post nothing at all, some of us will post and comment all day in an attempt to overload the servers, and some of us will shrug and go about business as usual, I shall just sigh and say that horrible, dreaded word: "Whatever."
