The Letter meme: Comment and I'll give you a letter; then you have to list 10 things you love that begin with that letter. Afterwards, post this in your journal and give out some letters of your own.
a_bees_buzz gave me K, for Kel!
1. Kissing. (Not the Hi-Aunt-Jo-type, but the long, drawn-out, romantic and/or passionate type.) It's been a while, but I remember what it's like.
2. Kindness. By nature, I am a vicious, cruel brute, and I give into that impulse far too often. But I value it in others, and by extension, I make an effort to cultivate it in myself. It's an ongoing process, and I screw up at the worst times and with the worst people, but I keep trying.
3. Kitties. My boys' soft fur, flubby bellies, springy whiskers, and soft, chirpy meows. Bubba's whistly, whispery purr, compared to Boo-Boo's lawnmower rumble. And they're so unashamedly sensual; I envy them, in a way.
4. Kids. My nieces and my friend's children, to be precise. The way they change from one minute to the next and can make a game out of anything.
5. Kitchen. Where I can make all kinds of yummy stuff (when I can afford to buy the ingredients) ... and all my appliances work! I love cooking and baking.
6. Kick in the teeth. I know it's odd to say that I'm glad of it, but when I get one, whether deliberate or not, it's usually the result of my own shortcomings and self-centeredness, coming back to bite me in the arse. It takes time for me to realize this, of course, but it does me good. Usually.
7. Keyboard. I play piano very, very badly, but I've spent many enjoyable hours in contemplation as I practice.
8. Kilts.

Need I say more?
9. Kin. I love my family. They drive me nuts sometimes, but I'd go mad without them.
10. Knowledge. The pursuit of which is the whole point of my existence.
That was harder than I thought!
