Your Result: Literature Nerd

Does sitting by a nice cozy fire, with a cup of hot tea/chocolate, and a book you can read for hours even when your eyes grow red and dry and you look sort of scary sitting there with your insomniac appearance? Then you fit this category perfectly! You love the power of the written word and its eloquence; and you may like to read/write poetry or novels. You contribute to the smart people of today's society, however you can probably be overly-critical of works.

It's okay. I understand.

My boss sent this along. If you're living in the US, FYI:

Beginning February 17, 2009 your analog tv will no longer receive broadcast signals as tv will only be broadcast on digital frequencies. Your choices are:

1) Use cable or satellite to receive your signal

2) Purchase a digital tv and throw away your existing analog tv

3) Purchase a TV Converter Box

To make it less expensive the Feds are issuing coupons (up to 2 per household) which will reduce the cost, but they won't be free. The website is https://www.dtv2009.gov/ where they discuss your options and let you register for the coupons. Even if you have cable or satellite tv, you'll still able to register to get the coupons. Coupons will be mailed in February or March and boxes will be available sometime after that, but coupons are only good for 90 days from the date of mailing.

I recommend if you are receiving free tv, you look at this website sooner rather than later as I assume there is a limit to the number of coupons. It's likely that by next December, the boxes will be in short supply.

Welcome to the 2008 edition of getting to know your friends. Okay, here's what you're supposed to do, and try not to be lame and spoil the fun! Copy this entire email and paste into a new email that you can send, change all the answers so that they apply to you. Then send this to a whole bunch of people you know, INCLUDING the person that sent it to you. Some of you may get this several times (that means you have lots of friends).

Ganked from [livejournal.com profile] celisnebula, even though I'm fair certain I've done this one before. Read more... )

Whoever said, "'Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all" is a fecking liar. After having had someone look at me as though he found me interesting and attractive, every day that I'm not is a little more grey by comparison. I wish it hadn't happened at all.

And what was I thinking, anyway? That I'd come around the corner in the hallway outside my classroom, and he'd be there? Please. That kind of shit happens in fanfics, romance novels, and movies, but it doesn't happen in real life. Not to me. And I'm an utter imbecile for even entertaining the idea that anyone would go out of his way to see me again.
