Thank goodness it's Friday!

interesting or just weird?

Last night was one of those times when I wish I had a camera phone.

I was driving home past the lagoon -- which is a longer route then going past the university, but at least I'm moving -- when I noticed quite a few joggers on the sidewalk. This is not unusual in itself, because this is California, after all. But what caught my eye was most of them were men, they were all jogging in the same direction and following the same route, and quite a few of them were in dresses. And as I kept driving, I saw at least two hundred of them over a mile and a half.

First Annual Long Beach Cross-Dressers' Marathon, I suppose. The Gay and Lesbian Pride weekend is in the spring, so I know that whatever I saw isn't directly connected with that event.
