Fic rec!

It's a WIP, six chapters in. I haven't seen any fanfiction by this author before, but she's showing a cleverness and sense of humor reminiscent of shiv5468 and wartcap: camillo1978's Phoenix Feathers. Summary: Healer Granger is thoroughly fed up with her boyfriend, and what the hell have her friends been up to behind her back? Rated W (for profanity ... so far).

Have fun! The tension between Severus and Hermione -- neither of whom seems to have considered the possibility that the other might be interested -- jumps up a notch with each chapter.

Good grief

I can imagine that landing a brick that is kept airborne by a pair of little wings and momentum -- and having ONE try to get it right, because the brick is gliding, not moving under its own power -- must be tough:

(I was there for two shuttle landings at Edwards Air Force Base in California, including the landing of the first-ever shuttle flight, shown in the first video. I was seven when that first video was taken, and I never get tired of watching launches or landings. Haven't been to Florida for a launch yet, though.)
