It's Fridaaaaaaaay!
Oct. 13th, 2006 09:04 amHere are today's
thefridayfive questions:
1. What job do you have, and why do you like/hate it?
2. As a kid, what did you want to be when you "grew up?"
3. Is the job you have now anything like what you imagined as a kid?
4. Do you have a five-year career plan?
5. In order to get the job of your dreams, is there anything you wouldn't do? Why?
1. I am the bookkeeper in the library of a law school. I like it for the most part, though it's been quite stressful lately. Everyone there is very cool, it's a laid-back office, the dress is casual and the hours are super-flexible. My duties are also quite flexible, and when I don't finish a task on a certain day, there's always tomorrow.
2. An astronaut! Still do, as a matter of fact. I also considered being a nurse, cop, CIA agent ... all the things you think are glamourous when you're a kid, and come to find out later that they are anything but.
3. No way. Though fanfiction is not unlike what I'd thought of, when I wanted to be a writer.
4. No; I'm still working on my bachelor's degree, and would be content to be in the law library in five (or twenty) years while I attend university. Very happy, actually, as I get a hefty discount on tuition at my law school's mother campus, should I choose to attend there.
5. I'm no Slytherin. Whatever I get, I want to have earned it.
( Little rant: )
