Turkey Coma
Nov. 27th, 2005 08:33 amI heard that phrase on TV yesterday, and I've been using it ever since. An apt description, yes? I've been in a turkey coma since Thursday evening, with the Thanksgiving holiday. Two turkey dinners (Mom and I fixed one, and brother Jimbo the other, two days later), and leftovers in between. There isn't anything here to eat except turkey, or the side dishes that we've cooked up!
And I've taken several naps in these last four days, too. Making up for lost time -- I had a term paper due Wednesday night, so I hardly slept in the nights leading up to my astronomy class. I started research about a week before I left for England, but I was still doing research this last Monday night.

I know, this is the third time (at least) that this B52s piece has been my song of the day. What can I say? I'm in a groovy mood, dude.
