During the next seven weeks, I will list seven things that I'm grateful/glad/fangirly about, each time I'm annoyed/disappointed/discouraged. Or just if I feel like it.

3. all the magazines that my library subscribes to, so I can read them for free: Scientific American, Discover, Smithsonian, Bottom Line, Newsweek ...
4. e-mail, 'cause I have a mild phone phobia
5. one of my co-workers -- I love that I work with a bunch of men! -- who wears the nicest-smelling aftershave
6. holiday weekends, even though I never go anywhere (I like Labor Day more than Memorial Day, though, because it's the end of summer, rather than the beginning)
