An Attitude of Gratitude

wendy told everyone -- including why_me_why_not, from whom I ganked this -- to post a list of Five Things to Be Thankful For:

1. I get to be my dad's student again, this semester
2. a good job, patient and understanding bosses, and really cool co-workers
3. See's dark chocolate chip truffle
4. bunny slippers on cold nights
5. my Beastie Boys, who rush to the front door as soon as they hear my car in the alley, but then turn around as soon as I walk in the door, as if to say, "We weren't waiting for you, or anything."
